Ali Zeidan, the Prime Minister of Libyan has been kidnapped by some unidentified armed group, probably the rebels or Islamic militants from the highly guarded Corinthian Hotel at capital Tripoli on Thursday early morning. They have moved him to an unknown location. So far, his whereabouts were not traced and no communication received from the abductors.
Ali Zeidan, is holding the PM Office of the transitional government, after the killing of its dictator Muammar Gaddafi in year 2011. However, there is unrest prevailed everywhere in the country even under care taker government’s rule, due to rebellion by some groups.
Recently, two groups of US Commandoes have conducted raids in Tripoli in which they have captured senior Al-Qaeda figure Abu Anas al-Libi from the streets in broad day light before eyes of the public. Hence, this incident creates havoc among the people and probably the rebellion groups or the Al-Qaeda militants have abducted the Prime Minister Ali Zeidan to take revenge on the government for allowing the US marines abduct their leader from the streets.
