Lalu ropes in trusted IAS officers to guide his sons

RJD Chief Lalu Prasad Yadav managed to install his two sons in as Deputy Chief Minister and Ministers in Nitish Kumar cabinet, though they have no political or administration experience and enough qualifications to understand the technicalities of their portfolios.

His younger son Tejaswi Yadav was a 9th class drop out and elder son Tej Prathap discontinued his education with 12th class.

However, Tejaswi become deputy Chief Minister and also given additional charge of Buildings and Roads portfolio. His elder brother Tej Prathap Yadav becomes Minister of Health and Environment.

So, Lalu Prasad Yadav roped in his trusted IAS officers into their portfolios as Principal Secretaries to guide them. He roped in Sudhir Kumar a 1982 batch officer, who served under him when he was Railway Minister, as Principal Secretary of Roads Construction Ministry to assist his younger son Tejaswi Prasad Yadav.

Then he roped in his most trusted IAS officer, RK Mahajan of 1987 batch as Principal Secretary of Health Ministry for supporting his elder son Tej Pratap Yadav. Bihar government issued GOs for this purpose on Wednesday night.
