Clean chit to PM, thanks to Standing Committee

Congress party may not know how to resolve the burning problems of the country, but very well know how to come out of its own problems. The 2G scam that shook the country and tarnished the clean image of the Prime Minister Dr.Manmohan Singh has been underplayed by the party all these days only to let the dust settles. So far, none of the accused was brought to book as all of they are big heads. Entire blame has been transferred onto A.S. Raja, the former union minister for Telecommunications, who was jailed in this case.
The Joint Parliamentary Committee formed to study Prime Minister and Finance Minister’s role in this case, has issued a clean chit to PM on yesterday, stating he was kept in dark by his minister A.S.Raja. Though, the committee report is expected to be tabled on 26th of this month, part of it leaked to media yesterday, which reveals all this news. The committee has stated that, A.S.Raja has kept Prime Minister in dark by keep assuring him that entire allocation process has been done transparently and as per the rules and regulations.
It alleges that A.S.Raja has not even followed the ‘first come- first serve’ policy of the department and misused his powers in license allotments. Hence, PM is not aware of his intentions and he is innocent, gives clean chit JPC. The opposition party members of the JPC have described it as a Congress report and not a JPC. Gurudas Gupta, CPI, a member of the Committee has said that they will oppose the report and also file their objections in the final report. He said the report was drafted to save PM and Finance Minister from this case.
