CBI Court Allows Jagan to Vote in Presidential Poll

The CBI Court in Nampally has today gave permisson to YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to cast his vote in the Presidential poll to be held on 19 July, 2012. The Court has also granted permission to former minister Mopidevi Venkata Ramana, currently in jail on charges of irregularities in the implementation of Vanpic project.
Jagan Mohan Reddy is currently lodged in Chanchalguda prison facing charges in a disproportionate assets case being probed by the CBI. He had filed a petition in the court on Monday seeking permission to vote in the presidential election as an MP from Hyderabad instead of Parliament House in Delhi.
