Pakistan and Iran fight over Indian spy

Pakistan might be claiming that it has arrested an Indian spy in its province of Baluchistan. Though India has been denying the reports, saying that the accused is only a retired Navy officer... Pakistan is trying to make the issue bigger and louder. Now the issue of Kulbhushan Yadhav, the accused spy seems to have dragged Iran on its way too. Yadav is holding a passport of Iran and has been living in Chahbahar, a port city in Iran. He is said to have illegally entered into Baluchistan through the Iran border without any difficulty. This allegation has forced Pakistan to question the motives of Iran.
But Iran has not only denied of any knowledge regarding the accused, but has also slammed the Pakistani media for pointing fingers at it. The embassy of Iran has issued a statement which almost felt like a warning. “During past days some section of Pakistani media has spread contents regarding detention of an Indian agent and the matter related to it, which could have negatives implications on the fraternal and friendly atmosphere of Iran and Pakistan,” the embassy warned. Iran is known to be a natural ally for Pakistan for many decades together. But the latest development seems to have jolted an otherwise smooth relation. What next!
