Few days back, a Telangana Minister demands for separate High Court for AP to avert disputes between advocates of two states. As if endorsing his statement, Telangana Chief Minister KCR, who met Union Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad yesterday, asked him to arrange separate High Court to AP state. He assured the minister that there are sufficient space and buildings in Hyderabad and his government is ready to allot them, if Centre agrees to arrange separate High Court for Andhra Pradesh state.
Law Minister positively responded to his appeal. He told the Chief Minister that Centre will take this to the notice of new Chief Justice of India, who will take charge on September 27th and resolve this issue. AP government, which is ready to move out from Hyderabad at the earliest, has not made-up its mind on where to set-up the High Court in the AP state, although Shivarama Krishnan committee has recommends it at Vizag. So, the state High Court has to be run in Hyderabad only until a permanent complex is built somewhere in AP state.
