Parties should have only one agenda

The CPI General Secretary of the state K.Narayana has sharply criticized CPM, TDP, YCP, Congress parties and the Seemandhra political leaders. He asked “When CPM if for Samaikyandhra, then why it is failed to take active part in the people’s agitations. Hence, CPM is also maintaining double standards over bifurcation issue.”
“Both TDP and YSR Congress parties are struggling to gain upper hand over the other in Seemandhra region. Though, they both gave consent letters for bifurcation, it is quite surprising to see them both take a ‘U’ turn and now fighting for Samaikyandhra. These two parties are letting their regional leaders speak in different tunes.
Even the so called national party Congress also adopts the same policy. Whether, it is a regional or national party, there should be only one agenda and shouldn’t make quite opposite arguments on one issue.
CPI insists for division of the state and it stood by the people of Telangana throughout their fight, even before launching of TRS party by KCR,” said Narayana.
He asked why the Seemandhra leaders are buying huge lands and properties in and around Ongole city, while continuing their fight to keep the state unite.
“These leaders are very greedy and not really concerned about the problems of the people. That is why they ask for contracts and tenders instead of asking for Samaikyandhra whenever they go to New Delhi,” said Narayana.
