According to latest reports, Chandrasekhar alias Chintu is the main conspirator of the assassination attempt made on Chittoor Mayor Katari Anuradha and her husband Katari Mohan, in which Anuradha was died on the spot and Mohan was seriously injured. Chintu is none other than Mohan’s nephew. Although, he is highly educated, he is having a criminal track record.

 

He said to be insisting for huge amounts from the couple for a long time. Mayor Anuradha also sought police protection sensing trouble from him. He demands for Rs.3 lakhs recently but when they refused, he said to be planned for their murder. He perfectly executed his assassination plan taking advantage of the security absence due to their off day.

 

Venkata Chalapati, Reddappa, Venkatesh and Manjunadha are reportedly taken part in this assassination. However, two of them surrendered to police within hours and rest fled away. Police teams start searching for the culprits. Katari Mohan’s health condition is still critical. Police are waiting to gather information from him. The raged TDP cadres attacked Chintu’s house and set ablaze three vehicles parked nearby.
