Let me be me: Chiranjeevi

It appears Union Minister Chiranjeevi has not yet matured in politics. But, he seems to be well understood the ‘thumb rule’ of the Congress party. Falling into Congress lanes, now and then he do not forget to quote the names of his party Chief Sonia Gandhi and her son Rahul Gandhi through out his speech proving that he exactly caught the point.
But, rest of his speech proves that still he needs to mature a lot in politics. Since, there was no well-scripted speech in his hands, he tried to convince the audiences that now he is a fully matured politician who can take upon the party rivals like any one, but unfortunately in one or two points it backfires at him. He revealed his inexperience and immaturity in the politics by mentioning that YS.Jagan Mohan Reddy is playing political games from Chanchalguda jail itself by using cell phones in the jail. By saying so, he unknowingly gives a weapon to TDP which has been blaming Kiran Kumar government for providing all facilities to YS.Jagan Mohan Reddy in the jail, because of the secret pact that they had between them. Nevertheless, TDP catches Kiran Kumar Reddy’s government by his tongue highlighting Chiranjeevi’s quotes about Jagan using cell phones in the jail.
He also reminds the members of the party who attend the meeting that he is a new comer into the party by telling them that he has merged his PRP into Congress party unconditionally. When he says that, many were seen smiling for his over smartness as they all knows why did he merged his party into Congress party and what makes him Union Minister now.
When it was a time for him to dilute his PRP personality and emerge as a full fledged Congress leader, he reminds the audiences that he is still an outsider in the party. After a year service in Congress party he would have wiped off his PRP image to fully align with Congress cadre, but he did quite against with his speech.
He tried to impress the audiences as well as the party high command by speaking against Chandrababu and Jagan Mohan Reddy in the meeting, but couldn’t make any impact. Would he come up with some concrete proposals to strengthen the party and the government to face the upcoming elections, he would have won the hearts of the party.
ultimately, it appears that he wants to tell the party “Let me be me, expect no change in me.”
