Vizag Congress MP D.Purandeswari is trying to convince the Seemandhra people that it’s unwise to hang on to Samaikyandhra, while the Center is spearheading with bifurcation process. So, she advised the people to adopt a realistic approach towards this sensitive issue and realize that it is time for them to fight for a good package instead of wasting time on Samaikyandhra. Though, she may be realistic her suggestion draws severe criticism from Samaikyandhra protagonists.

APNGOs president P.Ashok babu speaking to media has asked her not to discourage the people with her unwanted suggestions.

“Her father late NTR has fought for the self-respect of the Telugu people. Being his daughter and representative of the people, she should reflect their opinions and continue fight for their cause. But, she is trying to foil our attempts to keep the state unite. While, we are continuing our fight even without taking our salaries, she simply withdrew from her responsibilities and also now preaching the people to follow her."

"If, she is not interested to continue her efforts to keep the state unite anymore, then at least she shouldn’t try to distract the people with her suggestions. We strongly believe that still there are number of hurdles in bifurcation process in several stages from Assembly to President’s approval. We are confident that the decision may be rolled back at any stage. So, we request her not to play spoilsport in our efforts to keep the state unite,” said Ashok babu.
