The Raja Saab movie starring Prabhas has been in production from October 2022. The movie directed by Maruthi Dasari has been shooting in short schedules from so long and the reports have suggested that it did undergo many re-shoots as well. The makers have originally planned for a 2024 release but due to delays locked 2025 date.  But they had to postpone indefinitely, when they saw the VFX output and reports stated that again they did some re-shoots. Prabhas went to Europe for rehabilition of his knee which had been troubling him since Baahubali days. Now, the makers have announced 5th December 2025 release date.  Many are wondering why did they select Pushpa 2 release date. Well, the makers have gone through plans of Mythri Movie Makers, who are producing Prabhas other film, Fauji (working title) in the direction of Hanu Raghavapudi. As they have plans to release it for Summer next year, Raja Saab makers saw about Sankranti release.  While they would have loved a festival release, OTT streaming partners have pushed for this year release, it seems. So, they have decided to go with 5th December release, and speed up VFX works. Also, the re-shoots will be completed by August to give Prabhas time to join Kalki 2 as well, say reports.  Few did feel like Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2 magnamous success might have played a key role in this decision but People Media Factory went with this date to please their OTT partners, say reports. Pawan Kalyan, AP Deputy CM, delayed his film commitments for political and now, he finished his portion for Hari Hara Veera Mallu. He is currently working to complete OG and the shoot is happening in Mumbai. His HHVM is gearing up for release on 12th June but the movie could not complete the censor on 3rd June.  While few reports stated that the film censor could be completed on 4th June, new reports have made assumptions that movie is postponed. Further reports are suggesting that even Vijay Deverakonda's Kingdom re-shoots have started in Goa and the movie might not make the 4th July deadline.  So, the speculations are ripe that HHVM could take 4th July release date and Kingdom might go to a later date in July as August is locked. OG makers have already booked 25th September date alongside Akhanda 2. So, OG makers might not give way to HHVM as their OTT and Satellite deals could crash.  Already few reports suggest that HHVM is struggling to find buyers and the movie OTT deal could be re-negotiated in case of delay. Kingdom makers also have similar issue but the director Gautam Tinnanuri does not want to give a second rated movie. Also, producer Naga Vamsi wants this to work big time.  So, they went with re-shoots and even Vijay Deverakonda is betting on the movie huge, so he gave dates to complete it seems. As part of the Hotstar Specials lineup, the OTT platform is set to premiere a new web series titled Devika and Danny from June 6th.
