Specified Authority in place of TTD Board

Andhra Pradesh government leaving number of aspirants quite disappointed has formed a Specified Authority for holy Tirumala Balaji temple in place of TTD. It will be supervised by Principal Secretary of Revenue and Endowment ministries. Apart from dealing with routine administration business, it is assigned to improve the sanctity and eliminate all the odd practices that gripped of the holy temple.

Chandrababu Naidu, who visits the holy temple soon after his party victory in the recent general elections, has promised to set right the entire administration system and uphold the sanctity of the temple. Perhaps, that is why he constituted specified Authority instead of letting his party leaders take the TTD administration into their hands. If, this could avert or reduce the political intervention in TTD’s day-to-day affairs and improves the situation, the same idea may be adopted for other temples also.
