Jagan Loyalist MPs, MLAs to Resign

jagan cbi case, jagan group mlas, mps mlcs, resignations, ysr lyalists resignations, jagan loyalists resignations, jayasudha resigns, konda surekha resigns, jagan loyal cong tdp mlas resignTwo Congress MPs, 27 Congress MLAs, two TDP MLAs and one PRP MLA, who switched their loyalty to the YSR Congress Party Chief and Kadapa MP, Mr Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, on Sunday announced that they were quitting the Congress party as well as Assembly membership in protest against the inclusion of late Dr YSR's name in the FIR filed by the CBI in the court. In fact, the Congress MLAs, Ms Konda Surekha and Ms Jayasudha and Ms Kunja Sathyavathi, have already submitted their resignations to MLA posts demanding separate Telangana State.

Speaking to the media at the YSR Congress Party office here after a four-hour long meeting of the MLAs and MLCs, the former minister, Mr Pilli Subhash Chandra Bose, said they have decided to submit their resignations en masse in protest against the Congress high command's hostile behaviour against late Dr YSR. He said they will submit resignations to the Speaker, Mr Nadendla Manohar today.

Mr Pilli has called upon the Congress leaders, who were claiming themselves as political heirs of late YSR, to come out from the Congress party and join hands with them in order to protect the ideals of YSR. Mr Pilli also said the two dissident TDP MLAs, Mr Nallapureddy Prasanna Kumar Reddy and Mr Y Balanagi Reddy, have also expressed their readiness over phone to submit their resignations to their party and Assembly membership.
