Teja Sajja is making his debut as a host with The Traitors Telugu, the regional adaptation of Prime Video’s internationally successful reality format. The trailer introduces Teja in a sharp new avatar as he takes charge of a game built around trust, deception, secret identities and betrayal.

The 10-episode unscripted series brings together 20 celebrities from different backgrounds, with contestants divided between the ‘Innocents’ and the hidden ‘Traitors’. As alliances change and loyalties are put to the test, the contestants must figure out whom they can trust while trying to survive the game.

For Teja, the show marks a completely different experience from his work as an actor. “Hosting The Traitors Telugu has been a completely new experience for me, and I was genuinely excited to take on something so different from anything I’ve done before,” he said.

The actor also admitted that the unpredictable nature of the game extends to the host as well. “Honestly, as a host, this game is as unpredictable for me as it is for the contestants,” Teja said. He added that the format is driven by “the lies, the mind games, the unexpected alliances, and those moments of constant second-guessing.”

The Telugu version features contestants including Chinmayee Sripada, Harsha Vardhan, Pragathi, Vidyu Raman, Vishnu Oi, Shravya Varma, Sweekar Agasthi and others. Produced by SOL Production, The Traitors Telugu will stream exclusively on Prime Video, with new episodes arriving every Thursday.
