The wedding of Sunrisers Hyderabad CEO Kavya Maran and sensational music composer Anirudh Ravichander has been confirmed, with Sun Group chairman Kalanithi Maran personally inviting prominent political leaders to the couple's wedding reception. The official communication from the Telangana Chief Minister's Office and the invitations extended by the Maran family have brought an end to months of speculation surrounding the high-profile wedding.

Kalanithi Maran and his wife, Kavery Maran, met Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy at his residence in Hyderabad and invited him to the reception. According to the Chief Minister's Office, the reception is scheduled to take place in Chennai on November 21, 2026. The meeting and invitation were also shared through the official social media channels, making the wedding announcement a major talking point across entertainment and business circles.

The invitations have extended to some of the country's most prominent personalities. Kalanithi Maran met Prime Minister Narendra Modi to invite him to the celebrations, while Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay also received an invitation in the presence of Anirudh and Kavya's family members. The developments have generated considerable attention, given the couple's prominent positions in the entertainment industry and the Sun Group's business empire.

Reports suggest that Kavya and Anirudh are planning to tie the knot in Greece on November 11, followed by the grand reception in Chennai. However, the destination wedding date has not been independently confirmed by the couple, while the November 21 reception date has been officially communicated by the Telangana Chief Minister's Office.

Kavya Maran, daughter of Kalanithi Maran, is widely recognised as the face of Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL, while Anirudh Ravichander is among the most sought-after music composers in Indian cinema. Their wedding has become one of the most talked-about upcoming celebrity events, bringing together prominent names from the worlds of cinema, business, cricket and politics.
