Anupama Parameswaran and Senior Naresh play a father-daughter duo in Crazy Kalyanam The promotional content generated good buzz, and the film hit the theaters today. Let's see how crazy the movie is.

Plot:

Keerthi (Anupama Parameswaran) is a smart, independent MS student from Medak who deeply loves her father, Parvathalu (Naresh). Parvathalu, who is good-hearted but slightly selfish, fixes her marriage with an NRI groom without her consent. Keerthi refuses, but he continues with the arrangements. Why does the brave Keerthi reach the wedding mandap? Who does she actually love? Watch the movie to find out.

Analysis:

The movie is a breezy watch without boring moments. The first half is engaging with good character introductions. The natural scenes between Naresh and Anupama are a major highlight. Tharun Bhascker shines in his entertaining role, though he deserved more screen time. However, the romantic track between Keerthi and Uday (Akhil) is just average.

The interval twist works well. The second half builds good curiosity, especially during the emotional wedding episode. While the pre-climax and climax are handled well, a major suspense element is resolved too simply.

Anupama delivers a natural performance, and Naresh is the absolute soul of the film. Tharun Bhascker is a strong asset. The technical values like music and cinematography are good, though the writing could have been sharper to elevate the fun.

Positives:
Anupama Parameswaran and Naresh's performances
Engaging screenplay

Negatives:
Entertainment factor is too low
Simple resolution of the main twist
Average romantic track

Bottomline: A clean, decent family drama with a good core point but misses out on high entertainment.

Rating: 2.5/5
