Avengers Doomsday leaks spark fan theories about epic conflict

Russo Brothers have been highly successful with Marvel Cinematic Universe films like Captain America: Winter Soldier, Captain America: Civi War, Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: EndGame. They are returning to direct Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars. MCU also announced return of Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom.
Many have speculated that Chris Evans, who played Captain America aka Steve Rogers, will be back as Russos have been casting him in their major other blockbusters too. The Avengers: Doomsday teaser leaks have noted that he is indeed returning and he will have a baby with him as well.
Now, fan theories are going around that Steve Rogers is with young Victor Doom and hence, he is able to time travel and appear in Fanstatic Four: First Steps changed timeline to 1970's, in end credit scene. Also, there are theories that the makers are planning to make it another big flm with Chris Evans vs Robert Downey Jr. story.
As Captain America: Civil War had both of them as Captain America and Iron Man going against each other, now, it will be Steve Rogers vs Doom. They are majorly predicting that during the time travel of Steve Rogers in EndGame, he did rupture the timeline and hence, the changes will be addressed by him only.
While the theories are rampant, several fans are unhappy that Marvel back tracked from Anthony Mackie's Sam Wilson as Captain America to Chris Evans. Several are countering it by stating that this time he is Steve Rogers but not Captain America and Sam Wilson will remain Cap.
The official note and confirmation from MCU or producer Kevin Feige can only satisfy fans about the new developments of the story. For now, Chris Hemsworth is expected to also play a huge role in this film but Secret Wars will be having the original trinity going against each other say several sources.
Looking at the disappointing reception to Marvel Phase 5 films, this kind of restructuring is anticipated. As Chris Evans stated that he is not going to return to MCU films but decided to keep it aside for Russos and Feige, he is receiving backlash and appreciation. We have to wait and see how Marvel will handle all this further.
