Superstar Mahesh Babu is the biggest star in Telugu when it comes to overseas market. Despite talk, most of his films in recent times made sensational business in the territory. His maiden bilingual film Spyder too has opened to earth-shattering collections. The AR Murugadoss film grossed $970K through premieres alone in USA. A little lower than initially expected but superb opening overall.

Trade pundits predicted Spyder to mint at least 1 M through premiere shows. Actually, pre-bookings were extra ordinary for the film. However, the negative talk affected the collections. The spy action thriller is expected to cross 1 million mark through regular shows on Friday. Nonetheless, it may not have long run owing to negative talk it got.

Trade sources also inform that Spyder is not up to the mark in many centers in Telugu states, especially in mass centers like Ceded.
