Are Jagan’s party review meetings serving purpose?

YSR Congress party President Jagan Mohan Reddy has been conducting party review meetings in Ananthapur district since yesterday. The intention is to review the party position in the district and take corrective measures if any. However, he dedicates his time to criticize ruling TDP and its Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. He said ruling TDP government is trying to escape from its elections promise of crop loans waiver. However, he owed not to let it escape.

He tried to educate his party leaders on how narrowly YCP has missed the chance to win the general elections. He said a mere five lakhs votes have betrayed his party electoral chances. He said it is because he doesn’t want to make false promises to win the elections like Chandrababu Naidu did. His agony can be understood, but he seems is unable to come out of it even four months after the elections.

He may not promised to waive off crop loans, but his repeated statement about party defeat with just five lakh margin is underlining that he is regretting for not committing for such promise, that he argues brings TDP into power. However, he made several such un-practical promises during his elections campaigning, but he is conveniently ignoring them all. He wasted five precious years’ time in the past and still is wasting. The current review meetings underline that he has not learnt any lessons from his past.
