YCP MLA welcomes TDP decision!

There is a general belief that whatever ruling party proposes, opposition party must strongly oppose it. Ruling TDP government’s decision to make Vijayawada-Guntur area as state Capital was also strongly opposed by a section of opposition party. However, YSR Congress party has been neutral on this issue. Jagan Mohan Reddy also find no objections for TDP government’s proposal, but asked how it will arrange huge funds for purchasing lands that are not affordable at all. However, he and AP PCC President Raghuveera Reddy have suggested the state government to convene an all-party meeting to discuss this issue.

Even though, Jagan Mohan Reddy seems positive toward TDP government’s proposal, his party leaders have not made any statement on this issue. Jaleel Khan, YSRCP MLA from Vijayawada is the first to welcome TDP government’s proposal. He said, “VGTM (Vijayawada-Guntur-Mangalagiri-Tenali) area is very ideal place for building state Capital, because it is centrally located and has good scope to emerge as great Capital. I welcome state government’s decision in this regard.” Perhaps, he is welcoming government’s decision because he is representing Vijayawada. But, the question is why he alone speaks, while all other YCP MLAs from VGTM area are not supporting? Is Jaleel Khan just expressed his views or have some other interests like jumping ship?
