Vijayamma outcry over media and parties

YSRCP honorary president YS Vijayamma has met President Pranab Mukharji yesterday and submits a memorandum asking for the release of her son Jagan Mohan Reddy from jail. She also has handovers a scanned copy of 1.4 crore signatures in CDs to him. Speaking to media she expressed grief for projecting her son as a criminal by some sections of media and political parties in the state, where as her son has never interfered nor interacts with any government offices or its officers during his father’s regime. Condemning the remarks passed by some political leaders on her recent visit to New Delhi. “I didn’t go there to fall on President’s feet nor did I beg him to close the cases of my son. I just appealed for the release of my son on bail and nothing else. Even after so many months in jail, CBI has not started its trial of my son’s case. I believe that it is politically motivated and thus we met President asking for his intervention in his case.”
