Heavy Rains in Uttarakhand, 10 Killed and 38 Missing

10 people were killed and 38 people went on missing in Uttarakhand due to heavy rains on Saturday. This sudden floods made hundreds of pilgrims with the Chardham Yatra come to end it. Garhwal region was the most affected area due to the natural calamity. Uttarakhand state government has sounded high alert of heave rains and sought the help of Indian army to help the suffering people. 19 laborers of the state-run UJVN Ltd's Assi Ganga hydel project went missing following a cloud burst in the upper hills of Uttarkashi district.
