US ready to roll red carpet to Modi

So far, US government has been refusing to grant visa to Narendra Modi in connection with Godra riots in 2002, but it is ready to revoke its decision after seeing his chances to become Prime Minister of India are bright.

US State Department Spokesperson Jen Psaki speaking to media said, “Heads of state and heads of government are eligible for A1 visa classification under the INA (Immigration and Nationality Act). No individual automatically qualifies for a US visa."

Obama government might have realized that continuing the ban on Narendra Modi will harm the bilateral relations between two countries and especially it will adversely affect its business interests in India. So, it takes out the rule book from drawer and saying Modi can be allowed to visit USA.
