Congress strategically apologize Mulayam

Union Minister Beni Prasad Verma’s remarks against Samajwadi party Chief Mulayam Singh, linking him to terrorists and accusing taking commission to support UPA government have drawn an unexpected trouble to UPA government, which is under severe pressure from DMK’s decision.

Since, UPA badly needs Mulayam Singh’s party support for its survival, AICC Chief Sonia Gandhi has personally conveyed her regrets for her Minister’s remarks and also makes him eat his words in the parliament today. Union Minister Verma has regrets for his remarks made against Mulayam. However, he said there is difference between asking apology and expressing regrets for remarks. Samajwadi MPs in the house are demanding for the expulsion of the Union Minister from cabinet.
