It’s been a field day with Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and Varun Gandhi taking digs at each other .This time now with Priyanka saying that the Lok Sabha elections is not a family Tea party in reference to Varun’s saffron stance. She seems to be unrepentant over the video which was leaked where she came out pretty hard on Varun
"This is not a family tea party. It is an ideological war. Would not have forgiven my child, if he did something like this," is what she said to which Varun hit back at her for crossing the Lakshman Rekha of decency and it should not assumed that since he did not respond meant that he was weak.
The same was the case during the Rajiv Gandhi time when he had a fall out with his cousin Arun Nehru who left the Congress and joined V P Singh to form the Jan Morcha in 1987.But those difference were set aside after he died in 2013 when Sonia, Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi attended Arun Nehrus funeral and it was actually Priyanka Gandhi’s son Raihan who lit the pyre.
Looks like the 4th generation heirs to the Gandhi/Nehru family have decided to openly criticize each other during the ongoing campaigns.
