Police Tightens Noose Around Sathya Sai Trust Members

After the seizure of huge cash and protests by the Sai devotees, the police is tightening its noose around the Sathya Sai Central Trust members. The police has already obtained details of vehicle movement out of Prashanthi Nilayam from the time counting of cash was going on in Yajur Mandir. Now it is going to question trust members Ratnakar and Srinivasan about the 35.5 lakhs cash seized at Kodikonda check post last Saturday. While Ratnakar is being questioned today, Srinivasan will be questioned on Monday.

An ardent devotee of Sathya Saibaba, Issac Tigrett said "Prashanthi Nilayam has become 'Ashanthi Nilayam' since Baba died. Whatever Baba has told me, I will disclose everything on Guru Purnima day." Businessmen, devotees and people in Puttaparthi started prtotests against the trust members for their financial misdemeanor and demanded for their ouster. They also demanded the government to take control of the Trust.
