Ponnala says Congress for Golden T

Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president Ponnala Lakshmaiah said his party would win 100 (out of 119) Assembly and 15 (out of 17) Lok Sabha seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha and Assembly elections. He went on to elaborate that the Congress has kept its doors open for alliances for those who fought for the creation of Telangana state. Answering a query on whether there was a move to tie-up with Telangana Rashtra Samiti and Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen he said that there was no proposal from either of them for an alliance and hence could not further comment. Building a Golden Social Telangana was the emphasis as the region had many underveloped places.Taking an indirect dig at the TRS he said that the people can’t be hoodwinked by making tall claims that Telangana could be reconstructed and blocking of the Polavaram project shows that they have no technical knowledge .These were statements made to attract voters which can be seen though by the public.
