MLC elections brings unrest for TDP

Facing elections might be very exciting for the political parties, but allotment of party tickets is definitely not a happy event. While, unrest in TDP has begun even before official declaration of its 3 MLC candidates names, even a worse situation is expected in Congress party, when PCC President Botsa Satyanarayana announces the names around 3pm on Sunday, as there tens of aspirants for 9 MLC post in that party.

The sitting TDP MLC Daadi Veerabadra rao from Anakapalli is quite upset for not giving him the party ticket. He hints resigning to his party polit bureau post, while his hundreds of followers are threatening to quit the party in protest against party decision. Hence, Chandrababu has pressed the panic button and sent senior leader Sujana Chowdary to negotiate with decedents.

Another aspirant Koteswara rao, former Chairman of the state handicapped co-operative society, who is physically disabled but following TDP President Chandrababu in his padayatra all these days on his tri-cycle, is also upset with Babu’s decision. Senior leader of the party, Varla Ramayya and some others are said to be in contact with Dadi over phone and trying to console him. Although, Dadi Veerabadra rao still has two months tenure as MLC, he expected the party to renew his position now itself.
