My statement was misinterpreted: Kishore Babu

AP Social Welfare Minister Ravela Kishore Babu’s statement on continuing TDP-BJP alliance creates havoc in the party. Taking serious exception to his statement, Minister Kamineni Srinivas (BJP) brings the matter to CM Chandrababu Naidu’s notice and he warned Kishore Babu to refrain from making comments on such sensitive issues that damage the relations between two parties.

Actually, Kishore Babu stated so against BJP because it is admitting TDP’s political rival Kanna Lakshmi Narayana into party. If there is no alliance between two parties, then he may not mind about this development, but believes not fair when working together. He explained the same to CM Chandrababu Naidu. He argued media misinterpreted his statement, but Chandrababu Naidu was not convinced as his statement has sent a wrong message to BJP.

Later, minister Kamineni Srinivas speaking to media said “TDP-BJP alliance will continue as usually. Such decisions can be taken by party high commands and not by Kishore Babu or some other ministers.”

However, it is to be noted that BJP state president Kambampati Hari Babu is also sending strong signals to TDP government from the very beginning that his party will put efforts to emerge as alternative political power in the state. Now and then he is aiming his guns on AP government and it’s Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu for various reasons, but Chandrababu has been ignoring his criticism keeping in view of party relation with BJP. He is very much aware that Centre’s assistance is badly needed for the development of the state. So, is he asked his minister Kishore Babu to refrain from such statements.
