Kerala church in sex scandal

The Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church is one of the powerful churches in Kerala enjoying the comfort of huge public faith. However, nearly 2000 year old church is now be rocked by a sex scandal. Recently a husband has complained to the church authorities that his wife has been sexually exploited by five priests of the church. Initially, the church tried to hush it up as an internal matter. However, the complaint gone viral in social media and even the National Women’s Commission began looking at the matter. Las Thursday the husband of the victim has appeared before the church inquiry at the headquarters and gave evidence before the panel. However, the scandal has left a stain on the image of sacred church in Kerala.
