HC refuse stay on Eng. Admissions

The High Court has refused to grant stay on the engineering admissions in Telangana state. A petition was filed on behalf of 174 private engineering colleges in the state requesting the court to order the state government to enclose them in the web counseling process, but the court rejects their plea. The court agrees with the state government arguments that the schedule declared by it following the Supreme Court orders can’t be altered for the private engineering colleges. So, it refused to grant stay on the process and adjourned the case to August 22nd. So, the fate of these 174 private engineering colleges hangs in the air.
