Vice President Poll: Ansari Files Nomination

Hamid Ansari, Ansari Vice President poll, Vice President elections 2012, Hamid Ansari Files Nomination Vice President Polls 2012: Vice President Hamid Ansari filed nomination papers a shortwhile ago for his re-election to the post amid expectations in UPA that he is set for a comfortable win.

 

Ansari will submit four sets of nomination papers to Lok Sabha Secretary General T K Vishwanathan, who is the Returning Officer for the August 7 Vice Presidential election, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pawan Kumar Bansal said.


Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Congress President Sonia Gandhi, Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi and leaders of UPA constituents, SP supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav and RJD chief Lalu Prasad were present when Ansari submitted his nomination papers.
