Election Commission yet to stop Legend

With the Election Commission issuing strict instructions to National Television Doordarshan not to screen films of actors Hema Malini, Jaya Prada, Nagma, Smriti Irani and Jaaved Jaaferi, who are all contesting the Lok Sabha elections, till the elections are over, it goes to see if the same will be applied to our Andhra stars which include Balakrishna, Jaya Sudha, Babu Mohan,Murali Mohan,Roja , Hema etc and also since its Doordarshan only there are less chances of airing those movies But banning films in Doordarshan which airs movies once in a while hardly makes sense as the private channels are constantly relaying movies - so doesn't that fall under the ambit of EC Code?

In this context a  complaint was also filed against the Movie Legend before Balakrishna filed his nominations papers but was rejected by the EC as he was yet to file his B form. But now that he has filed his nomination papers the movie is still being  shown in the theaters even as we speak. The election commission is still yet to act regarding this.
