While Center is waging a diplomatic battle with Pakistan for it’s frequent seize fire violations near line of control at Poonch sector in Jammu & Kashmir state, BJP draws it into political battle on the same issue. Senior BJP leader Sushma Swaraj after being briefed by the home ministry about the steps taken by the government in dealing with Pakistan, she spits fire on the government for its inaction in the name of diplomacy. She said if the government fails to bring back the head of the Indian solder Hemanth, who was mutilated by the Pakistani solders, then it should ask the Indian army to bring ten heads of Pak solders in return. She flayed government for sitting with folded hands, while it puts lives of the Indian solders at stake.
However, Congress leader Manish Tiwari condemning her allegations and suggestions said the government can’t be provoked by such statements. Being responsible to whole nation’s safety and security it can’t jump into military action as suggested by BJP. He termed her demands irresponsible and immature.
