Chandrababu releases White Paper on Industrial situation

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, has released a ‘White Paper’ on the past, prevailing situation of Industries, Infrastructure and Employment at Hyderabad yesterday. He categorically disclosed the huge difference between his previous government and Congress government’s performance during last 20 years.

He said “I brought reforms in all sectors and spearheads with a vision for creating employment, revenue and development during my regime in1995-2004, but the Congress governments which came to power later, not only ignored the development but also completely destroyed all the systems I developed during my regime.”

“ I have created wealth to the state by making Hyderabad as major IT Hub. The Industrial growth during my regime was 61.4 percent and it was dropped to 29.40 percent during last 10 years of Congress ruling. Around 2.30 lakh people have lost their jobs due to closure of 64,000 small and medium scale industries during last 10 years. Many noted industries like Tata Nano Cars plant, Woks Wagon, Pharma and IT etc. have turned blind eye on our state due to lack of proper infrastructure facilities, power shortage, corruption in government etc. reasons.”

“ However, government forcibly clinched lakhs of acres of lands from the poor farmers and liberally distributed them to fake companies like Lepakshi, Brahmani Steels etc. in quid pro system. They mortgaged the lands with banks and pockets hundreds of crores of rupees.”

“Congress governments have destroyed the administrative systems and inserted corrupt practices into it. As a result there was total failure in each and every sector. Congress governments have ignored power sector, development of IT and other industries, neglected education, ignored skill development. As a result, the state is completely disturbed and it needs to be put on its track again.

“People calls Kerala as God’s own country. The same way, we will make the AP as ‘Sun Rise Country’ by making all round development. We will spread that development to all the 13 districts of the state, so as to use local resources and to transfer the benefits to the people living there. Already we have started efforts for bringing huge investments for developing infrastructure in the state, trying to bring software, hardware and other industries to the state.”

“We will setup Marine University West Godavari, Petro Chemical Industry in Rajhamundry in East Godavari, Horticultural Commission Office in Hindupur, IT Hub in Vizag and Ananthapur. We will develop all the districts depending on the local resources. Once, the development activities kick starts, gradually there will be visible changes in the prevailing situation of the state,” said Chandrababu Naidu.
