Sonia and Rahul run for cover- Damage Control Starts

The dismal performance of the Congress party in the General Elections has proven to be a big blow for both the AICC chief Sonia Gandhi and Vice President Rahul Gandhi who have gone into a huddle. Early results showed the party set for its worst-ever electoral result with an estimated tally of just 67 seats. The Congress  Part were quick to protect Rahul  saying that he alone was not to blame for the impending defeat of the party and that it was a collective failure and defending the blue eyed boy of Congress. This could probably be the first time that such a low number of Congress candidates could be sitting in the parliament and they may not even have the Major Opposition status in the Parliament. Whatever it takes the Indian national Congress will have to do   a major damage control session for the next session of election to reclaim their former glory
