The Aam Admi way to Power

 

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal and his six associates, who are going to take oath at Ram Leela Grounds as Chief Minister and cabinet ministers of Delhi government, will reach the venue in common man’s vehicle-local train setting a fine example for the others to follow. Arvind Kejriwal and his members accompanied by their family members, well-wishers and friends will take local trains and travel like any other passengers.

 

Arvind Kejriwal told the media, this is not a VIP function but a common man’s function. So, everyone is invited and there is no need of passes to attend the function. He personally talked to his mentor Anna Hazare and appealed him to grace the occasion, but he politely refused. However, former IPS officer Kiran Bedi, who associated with both of them, may attend this function. Justice Santosh Hegde, who is also associated with both Hazare and Arvind may also attend this function.

 

The oath taking ceremony may be performed at 12pm sharply. Later, he and his cabinet ministers will pay tributes at Rajghat and then will go to Secretariat. Arvind Kejriwal said they will begin the work from day one. His first priority is implementing the AAP’s promise of providing 700 liters of drinking water to each and every family living in Delhi at free of cost.
