Andhra tops in election cash seizure

The Chief Election Commissioner, V.S. Sampath has revealed that a total of the unaccounted cash seized during the ongoing searches throughout India has reached Rs.260 crore till Tuesday during the election campaign happening in India. And Andhra Pradesh tops the list with Rs.129 crore seized so far, while Maharashtra ranks second with Rs.33.46 crore being seized .
Apparently Gold worth Rs 15 crore was seized at the Andhra Maharashtra borders today morning , which would probably make it the largest heist in Andhra Pradesh.Stakes are riding high this election season especially with the bifurcation of the state and each party desperately vying to win the maximum number of seats in either states.
