MIM party, which until now is supporting the hate speech delivered by its leader’s Akbaruddeen takes a ‘U’ turn to escape from the cases filed against Akbaruddeen. Quite unexpectedly, during the 2nd day of police interrogation Akbaruddeen has denied of making any hate speech against any community at his Nirmal meeting. He also denied that the voice in the CDs recorded was not his own but fake. Knowing that police do not have any official recorded evidences against him and for their dependency on You Tube and other sources for gathering evidences, Akbaruddeen’s lawyers might have proposed this idea to him. Hence, it becomes a technical issue rather than a serious issue. If, the issue is dealt with political touch, then he can walk free without a nick. If, the government let the investigating team go ahead, then it is not a big task for forensic department to prove him guilty. All it depends on how the case is going to be handled now.
