Add. Judge in Gwalior asked to perform item dance

An Additional Judge in Gwalior has alleged sexual harassment by a Madhya Pradesh High Court Judge and resigned as she was transferred to a remote location for not complying with an Administrative Judge in the Gwalior High Court's request for performing a song and dance item number at his home. The lady Judge has also alleged that the judge told her  that he had missed the opportunity of viewing a sexy and beautiful figure dancing on the floor and that he is desperate to see the same" a day after his "request".

The Additional Judge had resigned on July 15th as she was transferred to a remote area called Sidhi as she had spurned the Judge’s indecent behavior and advances and also alleged that she was professionally targeted and transferred despite requesting not to as her daughter was having grade 12 exams. In her complaint on August 1st to the President, the Chief Justice of India and the Union law minister, she had complained that if a lady judicial officer itself is treated like this then what constitutional goals we are serving.

The Chief Justice of India Mr RM Lodha has said that he has not received the complaint officially and will go through the complaint once he receives it.
