Former chief minister and strong man of BJP in Karnataka Yeddyurappa, who has started the Karnataka Janata Party (KJP), has showed his strength in the city of Bangalore. As per the reports, about 1.5 lakh people have attended the session.

As 14 MLAs have too attended the meeting of Yeddyurappa, the Jagadeesh Shettar government has fallen in minority. With this, the strength of Shettar government has been reduced to 105 from 120. About 113 MLAs are needed for the survival of the government. It means, the government has fallen in clear trouble. Six MPs have also attended the meeting. Three ministers have witnessed the meeting from distance.

Taking over the reins of KJP in the meeting, Yeddyurappa has declared his readiness to bring the government of Shettar down. He challenged the men in power to seek the fresh mandate of the people of the state. He declared that the present one is a coalition government of BJP and KJP. Yeddyurappa, who is fearing that the party may take action on his 14 MLAs, is now planning to go for the mass resignation of all the legislators.

With this, some unexpected developments may be expected in the near future in the state politics. Yeddyurappa, who created the history of forming the first BJP government in South India, has been uneasy eversince Sadananda Gowda had gone against his words.
