CBI Probe Into Jagan Companies: 20 Companies Depose

The Central Bureau of Investigation is carrying out a preliminary inquiry in to the allegations of amassing assets disproportionate to known sources of income against YSR Congress chief Jagan Mohan Reddy. Representatives of around 20 companies, which had invested in the various businesses owned by YSR Congress chief Jagan Mohan Reddy, have so far appeared before the Central Bureau of Investigation.
Since the CBI has started its probe last week, representatives of around 20 companies have presented their stand and handed over the related documents. "The inquiry is going on...all these documents are being verified, and we are recording the statements," the official added. He however, replied in negative when asked if the agency planned to issue fresh notices. The official also refused to comment whether the firms also provided details of their investment into Jagan's companies.
