Union minister for surface transport Nithin Gadkari will lay foundation stone for flyover near Kanakadurga temple in Vijayawada city on December 5th at 9am, declared Vijayawada TDP MP Kesineni Nani today. He said the flyover will be built with an estimated cost of Rs.464 crores. Centre has granted Rs.350 crores as its share and the state government will pay the balance amount. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu asked the officials to make sure the flyover is ready for use before Krishna Pushkarams next year. Construction works are likely to begin soon after foundation stone is laid.
