The special CBI court of Nampally today remanded Mr Vijay Sai Reddy, accused number 2 in the illegal assets case involving the YSR congress president Mr YS Jaganmohan reddy, to CBI custody till Jan 9.

CBI requested for 15-day custody of Vijay Sai reddy for further interrogation but the court granted 5-day custody and directed the CBI officials to question him from 10 am to 5 pm in the presence of his lawyers. Mr Vijay Sai reddy was arrested Monday evening by the sleuths of the investigating agency and the CBI court sent him to a two-week judicial custody till Jan 17. He has been lodged in the Chanchalguda jail. (JUBS)
