TJAC, which is closely observing political happenings in the state, is planning to grapple Congress and Telugu Desam MLAs. The TJAC wants to bring all Telangana leaders, irrespctive of which party they belong to, under one roof again and involve them in the third phase of Telangana agitation. Congress and TDP leaders from Telangana stopped participating in the T movement launched by the JAC and TRS after the legislators from the ruling party and main opposition refused to quit their elected posts as demanded by the JAC during the second phase of the movement last year.
Telangana JAC chairman M Kodandaram told in the meeting held yesterday that they have discussed the political developments taking place in the Congress and TDP and thought it best that they all come together onto one platform in order to strengthen the T agitation. "The JAC will meet the leaders of the Congress and TDP shortly and urge them to exert pressure on their party leaders in support of Telangana continuously and invite them to join the next phase movement," Kodandaram said.
