TDP Calls For Politburo Meet on 12 May

The Telugu Desam Part is to hold its politburo meet on 12 May. This politburo meeting gains significance in the wake of its holding just two weeks ahead of the party's Mahanadu scheduled for during 27 - 29 May. Latest political scenario in the state is likely to figure prominently at the meeting. The meeting will also discuss the outcome of Kadapa Parliamentary and Pulivendula Assembly segment by-election results, which are scheduled to be announced on May 13.
Telugu Desam president N Chandrababu Naidu will discuss strategy to be adopted in the event of fall of government as a section of YSR Congress party MLAs and MPs are believed to be contemplating to submit their resignations from their elected posts. The politburo meeting will also discuss the strategy to be adopted in the 2014 general elections if the YSR Congress Party candidate wins with large majority. The meeting will also discuss on Telangana state formation as Centre stated that it would took a decision on the issue after the outcome of election results in five states.
