Time and again the Telangana Congress leaders have proved that they couldn’t fight together for Telangana cause, where as their counterparts in Seemandhra region can join hands irrespective of their parties for their Unite Andhra fight.
In the wake of statements and information coming against Telangana state formation, the Telangana Congress leaders have summoned an urgent meeting to chalk out an action plan for pressurizing the party high command in their favor. But, several leaders like DK Aruna, Sabita Indra Reddy, Geeta Reddy and several others have skipped this crucial meeting stating that, it is not necessary to call for a meeting, when the high command is about to declare its decision in a few days time.
Former Minister Komatireddy Venkata Reddy, whose name was surfaced in the media for his interest to join YSR Congress party, also skips this crucial meeting. He said that he couldn’t attend the meeting because of his busy schedule at Nalgonda.
More over, the personal grudges between the Telangana Congress leaders also draws a line between them not allowing them to unite. Minister Uttam Kurmar Reddy and Komatireddy’s recent verbal is one fine example for this. Some others in this Telangana group feel deprived of their contribution in the meetings because Jana Reddy and Keshav rao often steal the limelight of the media at the end of every meeting.
The women ministers and leaders in this group complains that they face discrimination among the members and never been asked to spell their opinion in any of the meeting. They argues that often they were taken for granted in the meetings and even no one bothers whether they attend the meeting or not. That is how the women leaders in this group prefers to distance themselves from these male dominated meetings.
And there is cast factor to keep them away from the other. Some of the leaders in the group they doesn’t get their due respect because of their cast factor.
Ultimately, all of they have proved that they couldn’t unite in their fight for Telangana cause.
