The Telugu Desam Party has started its exercise in selecting prospective candidates for the upcoming bypolls in the state. Though it could easily identify party contestants two constituencies, the party is facing difficulty in deciding candidates for several other constituencies.

The TDP is facing problems in mainly Nagar Kurnool in Mahboobnagar, Narasapuram in West Godawari, Ramachandrapuram in East Godawari, Prathipadu in Guntur and Kamareddy in Nizamabad districts. The party chief Chandrababu Naidu is concentrating mainly on this issue currently.
