Although, there was not an eye brow rose questioning the party’s pro-telangana stand revealed in the all party meeting, a lone TDP MP Modugula Venugopala Reddy from Narsarao peta in Guntur, who differs with his party high command has told the media that he is in favor of Unite Andhra and if necessary he would like to quit his party and MP seat for Samaikyandhra agitations.
He said soon he will meet the party president Chandrababu Naidu and explain his stand. If, he doesn’t agree with him, then he will quit the party to safeguard the interests of Samaikyandhra.
However, media comes out with an entirely different story on his announcement of leaving the party. It reportedly states that, actually he plans to vacate his MP seat only to avoid a clash with his brother-in-law Ayodya Rami Reddy, who was assured of party ticket from YSR Congress party to contest from the same constituency of his.
According to reports, he too is planning to join YSR Congress party soon, if TDP failues to allot party ticket from another constituency.
