Five members Task Force for bifurcation

Home ministry has constituted a five member special task force to study and report the law and order issues that may arise due to bifurcation. This team will be led by IPS officer K.Vijay KumarTamilnadu of cadre. While, IAS officer Rajiv Sharma and IPS Oficer Vasan are representing the center, retired DGP AK Mohanti and IPS officer JV Ramudu from state will be the members in this team. The task force, which will start its work from tomorrow, is asked to submit its reports before November 5th. Hence, the team will be arriving at Hyderabad on Tuesday morning and will begin their work holding a meeting with state Police top brass.
The team is assigned to study the issues related:
1. Distribution of the assets and debits of state home ministry to both states.
2. Studying the law and order issues that may arise while and after division of the state (in both states).
3. Chalking-out procedures for maintaining law and order during the 10 years period in combined capital Hyderabad.
Besides the Home Ministry has summoned the three former DGPs of the state to take their suggestions over law and order issues and other issues.
